Jamiu Olamide Adeniyi popularly known as MJ is a Nigerian
film actor, model, musician, director, and producer. He has featured in so many
films and has produced so many Yoruba movies of his own.
Jamiu Olamide Adeniyi (MJ) was born on 9th December 1984 in
Offa, Kwara state, He was born to a Muslim family and is the youngest of the
family. He was brought up right there in Offa where he had his primary and
secondary school education.
Having completed his secondary school education in Offa, he
relocated to Lagos hoping for a greener pasture, on getting to Lagos, he
proceeded to the Technical College in Lagos and while still in the college, he
also got enrolled in an Islamic school(ile kewu) called Ar Rifuah Islamiya,
Alapere, he was running the both simultaneously.
Having graduated from the
Technical College and the Islamic school, He proceeded to learn fashion
designing where he was able to learn how to sew and design, after a series of
years as an apprentice, he graduated from the fashion school and become a
stylist on his own.
It was during being a stylist he got the motivation of
becoming an actor, he ventured into acting in the year 2015 through the help of
some notable colleagues and he was able to network with other people in the
industry as well.
Jamiu Olamide Adeniyi (MJ) has scripted and featured in
several Yoruba films, He made his first featured in the movie ASIKO FASHOLA
produced by Inaolaji Arikuyeri who happens to be one of his boss. He featured
alongside the likes of Baba Wande, Ronke Oshodi Oke, Dejo tunfulu, and host of
others.
Jamiu Olamide Adeniyi's (MJ) first production was OJUKOJU,
after which he made IWA, SALAKO ALAGBE, SIMBI, ARO BOXER, THE DIAMON, D, and
BETRAYAL.
Jamiu Olamide Adeniyi (MJ) a multi-talented soul also
released some music album. The month of Mercy, Lord of Mecry, and Olohun Aanu
are few among them, He is also vast in chanting, Jamiu Olamide Adeniyi is so
blessed.
